Maybe I'm just a dumb character from Japan, but this tattoo craze is totally out of control. Now comes word that some people actually regret those wacky tattoos they get:
Like many who paint their bodies on a whim, then regret it, Manhattan lawyer Veanka McKenzie wanted to rid her arm of a palm-sized, heart-shaped tattoo.
But the unorthodox tattoo-removal procedure she claims her doctor talked her into went horribly awry, leaving a putrid sore that caused her skin to collapse, forming a glaring black scar. Now, McKenzie is suing Brooklyn dermatologist Morris Westfried, saying the bizarre chemical from China he injected in her arm in 2003 "disfigured me."
Westfried said, "The idea of a lawsuit is very exasperating. There was a scar. That always concerns me."(New York Post)
So you allow your quack dermo man to inject you with some freaky chemical, and you don't ask questions in advance?
