My girlfriend and I stumbled into el Boqueron by accident after a day in Long Island City. The place is white table cloths and looks pretty fancy, but the host made us feel right at home.
The service was great, the host was very personable, and the waitstaff was always there with whatever we needed.
They have a fine selection of beers and wines.
The Tapas were amazing, especially the seafood. We had the grilled sardines, which were great. Next was a sizzling pot of Chorizo, and excellent chicken croquets. But the best was the grilled calamari in garlic sauce. It tasted so good it was memorable.
