I had read positive and negative reactions to the production of The Hunt for Treasure by professional and amateur reviewers alike. It was enough to peak my interest enough to spend the $15 to go and see the show. I really enjoyed it and would recommend it - but with a caveat.
This production has two strong actors having a lot of fun with a certain genre of comedy (a style I personally enjoy). If you do not like Animal House, Monty Python, "clown" comedy or a smattering of toilet humor you will not enjoy this show. (I am not for a moment suggesting The Hunt for Treasure is of the caliber of the above list but it'll will give you an idea of what you're in for). If you do - go see it, suspend disbelief and enjoy.
