The Hudson River, 5:00 pm. NYC.com would like to extend its heartfelt condolences to all the passengers, crew, and families involved in this disaster. Due to the heroic efforts of rescuers a terrible tragedy has been prevented on the icy-cold Hudson River. As of 5pm the wind chill was 10 degrees and rapidly dropping due to imminent sunset.
