When we're not busy ice skating in Bryant Park or browsing the stacks at the nearby New York Public Library we're hitting the holiday stores at Bryant Park. This year one new arrival stands out, not least given our endless desire for intriguing chocolate. Fortunately, the luxury chocolate brand that has brought a chocolate revolution to Ireland has finally here. With its first store to open in January of 2009, Lily O’Brien's has a temporary shop at the Holiday Stores in Bryant Park, store #F09. The truffles, caramels and the award-winning Honeycomb Crisp definitely stand up. Lily O'Brien's rise to fame is a typical success story: Mary Ann O’Brien started making chocolates in her kitchen in 1992 with two pans and a trusty wooden spoon. The chocolates make great gifts and stocking stuffers—or like us you can just eat them on the spot. Doubtless you’re sure to find something that will fit perfect under the tree. Hours: Mon-Fri 11am-8pm, Sat 10am-9pm, Sun 10am-6pm
