easier to remember address?

You dont have to change this often, as long as you
dont let other know your moblog address, you are fine.

Every moblog address is unique, and this is the only
way to identify you. If you give it to somebody, that
person is able to spam your blog, so be careful.

settings since last week, you will notice that there
is a new option call Moblog Address. There is no help
link like the Update Services, so you may not know
what is Moblog Address.

Moblog Address is an email address, which you can
compose your blog entry from any email client.
Includes yahoo, msn, gmail and the most useful, your
cell phone.

A moblog entry is just like a regular blog entry, the
only difference is that you update by sending the
Moblog Address an email. That's it.

In a moblog entry, the subject of the email becomes
the blog entry title and the body of the email becomes
the text.

Like a regular blog entry, you can attach a photo.
The current limit of size is 500KB. Photos must be in
jpeg or gif format.

You may ask, what if I attach more than one photos.
This is what will happen. Each of your photo will
become 1 blog entry, which the same title and text.

Is it cool?

Please give us feedback and report errors.

Any suggestions for "How to handle errors?" like when
you uploaded a photo which exceeds the permitted size,
would you like to be notified by a reply email, etc...

1. As you can see, on your right hand side, there is a tags box
replaced the google ads. That means you can now tag your
blog. (Blog tags and tags from other sections of the site are
separated)

2. When you have time, go check the blog settings, there is a new
setting called Update Services. By default now, when you post a
blog, our server will ping Technorati to index your new entry. If
you dont want it, then you can simply remove the link in the box.

3. Go to tags section from the main navigation bar on the
top. You will notice that tags also has the filter box as in blog
tags. When you type, the browser will filter the tags on the page
for you. For example, if you type "ab", then the brower will sort
out all the tags with "ab", etc.

4. There are 3 sub sections in tags. All NYC.com Users,
Only Your Connections and Only NYC.com Editors. Each sub section
shows only the tags tagged by those people. Especially Only
NYC.com Editors, you can find out what our editors say about NYC.
Go have a look.

5. In addition to sub sections in tags, you can also filter the
tags by sections using the dropdown on the right side of filter box.

6. Taking about tags, you can now share tags with everyone, just
your connections or just yourself, so use this feature wisely to
maximize your interaction with other nyc.com members.

7. Oh... did I say NYC editors...? If you a editor, you are
treated differently. You can see a yellow box with grey text on
it says "EDITOR". So everybody know you are a NYC.com editor.

8. Ah.. another useful feature. If someone post a comment
to your blog or review, our system will notify you by saying "You have
new comments" in your profile. Therefore, if you post a comment
here, I will know someone has post a comment next time I come check my
profile.

If i missing something.... !?

Tags: new feature, tags, technorati, update

Argg... The original size is 104KB.

profile, Requests and Shouts appear in those ppl who have make you a
connection.

But the truth is, it should be the opposite. Only those ppl whom
you made a connection should be able to see your PRIVATE REQUESTS and
SHOUTS.

Still thinking a better way to fix instead of just adding a bunch of conditionals which slow everything down even more.
IMG Tag of HTML still need to fix

For those images, that posted to the blog using the HTML IMG tag,
should only be allowed when the tag is accompanied with at least the

space deep inside the HTML Parser (which validate the post to make sure
proper the user posted proper HTML).

But not yet implemented...
Image do resize now if it is too big.

This is a sample image from My Pictures that comes with Windows XP.
