I was extremely impressed with this new restaurant
We had a private party at this new restaurant on Mulberry Street. The private room was lovely, the food was excellent, the service was top notch and the prices very reasonable. I would encourage anyone who loves Italian food and good service to try this place.

Il Cortile needs to get back on top
I have patronized this restaurant for over twenty years. The service has always been excellent. The ambience is lovely, although the acoustics have always been a bit loud. The food was always my favorite in Manhattan. However, the last time I ate there I was disappointed. Their lobster ravioli are still the best I have ever had. However, their veal was tough and fatty. Dinner came to almost $200 for two, very pricey. We shared our opinion with management. Hopefully, they will take heed and make the changes they need to make to be back on top.

Angelo's has the best basic Italian in New York city
Angelo's of Mulberry Street has been a staple in Little Italy for many years. Their menu is basic Italian, but that doesn't mean their food is average. It's anything but average. It's the best basic Italian I have ever had next to my grandmother's cooking and I am Italian. It compares with food I had in Rome. The service is excellent. The building could use a makeover, but once you taste their sauce, it won't matter.

The best Northern Italian I have ever had in New York city
We took our cousin from Italy to this restaurant this past summer and he absolutely loved it! The food and service are excellent. The ambience is wonderful, especially if you can sit out on the patio. The pre fix dinners are plenty of food for a reasonable price. For a quiet, romantic dinner, ask to be seated in the upstairs area where there are quiet tables for two in a beatiful room with high ceilings and arched windows.

  Good food at reasonable prices
Haven't eaten there in a while but it's a great basic Italian menu. For people with kids, they will find something they like that you can afford.
