Well, we're having some of that famous California weather - hot and dry with a slight Santa Anna wind. Good for stirring up the ol' allergies! Well if the weather would make up its mind. Not too much happening with the immigration proposal protests. THey have actually been pretty peaceful. Maybe cause we have NYC's former police chief, William Bratton. He kinda keeps the riff raff under control. If we could only get Rudy Giuliani as mayor to clean up this city here...

California - land of eternal sunshine. Wait! What happened? It's raining cats and dogs here. Actually, there's not eternal sunshine, that whole thing is a myth. This is our rainy season. Some years we have a drought but usually we get quite a few storms here. In June we get our coastal eddies and the infamous June Gloom. August is usually our sunniest month, and hottest too. Although I can't complain. We don't get the humidity. OK, not true either. We do when we have the monsoon moisture coming up from Mexico and then we get the explosive thunderstorms. Fun!! Maybe tomorrow it will be clear.
