Well, here we go again! Another fire. This time it's in Griffith Park (LAs Central Park) and has burned 600 acres and dangerously close to landmarks, the Observatory, the Greek Amphitheater and the carousel, as well as the zoo and golf course. The cause of the fire has not been determined as of yet but it has been terribly dry out here with relative humidity around 5%. Plus all of this brush which hasn't burned in decades. The air once again smells of smoke. LAFD has done an excellent job of keeping the flames away from homes and structures. More pictures are in my photo section.
