I have been going to Capucine's for more than 20 years. It is Northern Italian Cuisine. There were 2 owners Phil and Gene forever but Gene recently passed away. You will find the tastiest cuisine in NYC and I have eaten at all of the top 20 restaurants. If you want food equal or better than the top 20 at a cost of less than half and service way beyond your expectations, try this place. The owner Phil will welcome you with open arms at the door. Boris the matre'd will suggest food without looking at a menu. I suggest the Red Snapper Livornese. It is so large you can split it with your partner and still leave full. If you try Capucines once you will be there weekly.
