I had previously eaten at Ruby Foo's once about a year ago and the food was great, I had a great experience overall. When I arrived at Ruby Foo's this time we were seated promptly and I had expectations of having a good time again. This time, however, the waiter came up and basically threw the tap water in front of me as if to insult my girlfriend and I for not ordering mineral or spring water. Not only this but the cups were filthy and had some sort of particles floating in them. When I recieved my appetizer it was cold and it took about 15 minutes for the waiter to come back to check on us for me to tell him this. In between this time the same waiter had been waiting on the table next to us and was extremely condescending to the people sitting there. They were foreigners. I thought it was extremely rude to have a suggested tip guideline on the receipt. After charging me an arm and a leg for mediocre service and cold food, they had the audacity to throw a bill in front of my face with a 15% tip minimum recommended. That wasn't happening so I gave a tip I thought was adequate for mediocre service and food and then grabbed our leftovers and went on our way. When I arrived back at the hotel I was staying at and opened the leftover box, I discovered that the restraunt had removed all of the scallops from my leftovers and only left the shrimp. I paid 22 dollars for a scallop and shrimp plate. I will never eat at Ruby Foo's again and I will never recommend it to anyone else. I will tell them to stay away from this restraunt because of this overall terrible experience.
