Jewel of Tribeca
Still hopping after all these years, Tribeca Grill attracts legions of the faithful as well as those recently stumbling upon Tribeca in the hopes of spotting celebrity owner Robert Deniro (or other well-known investors).
But this resto is not just some glitz-box where posers meet to share celeb-spotting stories. Tribeca Grill is destination dining, and boasts one of the city's most notable wine lists, including an impressive collection of Rhone wines. Chef Stephen Lewandowski is among the city's most respected chefs.
Step inside a storied old warehouse building whose industrial feel resonates all the way to the soaring ceilings. The brick and mahogany main dining room evokes the grander days of dining when cognac and cigars were encouraged.
The menu is market driven, but look for grilled meats, Long Island duck and savory starters. The chocolate desserts will not disappoint.
There are two private dining rooms.
Part of the Myriad Group and co-owned by celebrity Chef Drew Nieporent.
