Great Turkish cuisine
Pros: manti, prices
Cons: location
Don't think of kebabs and hummus. This is a Turkish resto named after the Straits that connect the Aegean and Black Seas. Think fish.
Also are on the menu are some classic Turkish dishes, expertly done: manti (a type of delicate dumpling), lebni (a yogurt dish), stuffed mussels.
Decently priced, nice atmosphere.
The only downside is the view of the pylons at the foot of the 59th street bridge, unless of course you like that kind of Bauhaus POV.
