Great Space, good menu
Pros: gorgeous lounge area
Cons: too much empty space
Midtown is not known for its destination dining. But if you find yourself in the area you do have some options.
Rouge Tomate, in the old Copacabana space, is a visual feast. Upstairs, a lounge & bar provide a roomy and not-too-dark area for the modern diner.
Downstairs, a more formal dining room and open kitchen area provide much seating. Maybe too much.
The menu is designed to be healthy, seasonal and delicious. The Rouge Tomate brand prides itself on not adding fats & on balancing the proteins & carbohydrates on the plate.
Try the simple, roasted dishes. They are the best.
