Ben Kweller has confirmed summer touring plans in support of his most recent release, the self-titled BEN KWELLER (ATO Records). The tour will kick off in Detroit, MI, on July 20 and come to a close in Charlottesville, VA, on August 26. A highlight of the tour will be the three dates in Brooklyn. For those shows, Kweller will play each one of his records in their entirety in order: SHA SHA (7/30), ON MY WAY (7/31) and BEN KWELLER (8/1). Kweller will also be playing the Austin City Limits Festival in September.
BEN KWELLER was produced by Gil Norton (Feeder, Pixies), and all the instruments were played by Kweller. It reveals an ever-evolving and melodic sound that has been praised by Filter as "effortless pop." Kweller's direct and nostalgic lyrics have been named his "most personal" by Alternative Press.
