Those familiar with the work of a Tribe Called Quest may remember Consequence from his appearance on Midnight Marauders and Beats, Rhymes and Life. Since then he has signed to super producer Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. label and dropped his debut last year, aptly titled Don’t Quit Your Day Job. The Queens native returns to Manhattan on Tuesday, September 9th to the Knitting Factory. Performing alongside other notable emcees Mickey Factz and Termanology, this show promises to bring the pain for anyone who likes real hip-hop. The show is pretty cheap with tickets going for $15 in advance and $17 the night of the show.The show starts at 9:00 p.m. For further information on this show check out the Knitting Factory's website.
