Yeah, well... it seems the reason the overpass felt is because they didn't put up an iron rod at the place they should've... and they destroyed the nothern (about a half a mile away) overpass, too.
We're champs, in Quebec, to have stuff falling apart.. just take the Olympic Stadium.. when was it, 1991, 1992? When the 50 TONS pannel felt from the structure... wtg...
Which one's gonna be the next thing falling down? The Jacques Cartier Bridge? Or maybe a building or a statue or something? Damn.. did they ever considered weather, AND following the plans, when building structures up?
Of course, I can bitch at those engeneers, I'm not the one building those things.. but some things ARE visible, even to the untrained eye..

Someone at my job's been readin/watchin too much Fight Club lately...
Here's what I keep getting in my mailbox:
Worker bees can leave Even drones can fly away The queen is their slave
Without just one nest A bird can call the world home Life is your career
Flowers bloom and die Wind brings burrerflies or snow A stone won't notice
Watching white moon face The stars never feel anger Blah, blah, blah, the end
I guess someone out there needs either some sleep or some huge mega hug...
I say, never pet a burning dog.
There are wackos everywhere... at least it's not as bad as the guy in the metro station that keeps on yelling at everyone @ McGill... or the russian guy who's laughing strangely everytime the bus' makin' a stop..

Yeah.. I'm callin back a client that made an app... and the girl who's answering me's half drunk.. in the background you can hear some loud noise, probably some sort of girls party.
I ask to speak to the client, and this girl, half passed-out, yells to the others "There's some weird telemarketter guy over on the phone.. what do I do??" This guy comes over and picks up the phone, askin me who I am and what do I want from that other person... look.. don't ask, I'm not callin for you, and don't come tellin me the client doesn't need anything: The client came to me first... probably another of those stupid boyfriends... jealous type.. that someone, living hundreds of miles away, would take off with their girl..
... I guess that people should be a little bit more careful about what they say that can be heard by the person they're referring to..
Fuckin ontarians...

Last week was the RBC party, celebrating another _rich_ financial year... food was bad, music was ok, alcohol was quiet good..
I don't actually recall what happened during that evening, but I recall having some weird discutions with some of my colleagues, regarding matters you can't discuss about with some of our other colleagues. And no, there was no bad mouthing in this.. only hum.. "personnality" stuff *eg*
You may see those rare pictures that made it up to me up to now... thanks to my buddy Callixte.

Damn bastards...
How come that every time that we call T/S (tech support, you dummies), they always ask us to do a whole bunch of stupid things, and in the end they'll always end up by telling you "I'm sorry, but I'll have to send a technician. Please reboot."
WTF!!!
RE........BOOT.........? ....................... REBOOT?
Don't they realise that everytime you reboot, this clears up the problem for which we called them? Yeah... you pay your computer skill class $15,000.00 and you end up working in a call center, asking the guys calling you to reboot their machine.. World is yours!

Woohoo... RBC agreed that I go take their credit class, and becomre a DLA (Delegated Lending Authority)... I'll be fully happy about my job when they'll pay me my mutual funds class.. in about 4 months from now :D
This (DLA) means.. paycheck will increase, so will my wonderful canadian taxes payments (sigh), and I'll probably work night shift again (12-8pm) urgh..:\
At least, with my wife working night time, I'll see her more ofter (woohoo) :D
Ever felt guilty about the idea of declining someone because they've made any bankruptcy within the last 7 years? Or that they've had a judgment against them for financial fraud? Shit happens.. but that will not prevent me from sleeping at night... only if I continue to dream about my job will I do insomnia :P

Yeah!!!! Talk about some GOOD news.
Finally, they managed to get rid of that simili hockey player.
Yes, the man has talent, but damn.. when someone hits you, you DON'T do like your father does during a soccer game: fall on the floor and fake an injury.
I lost all respect for that guy since the day he did this..
But anyway, who's that guy, that Janne Niinimaa? Hope he knows how to skate..or we'll ship him back to Dallas >:|

It's kinda scary when you hear a big loud sound, like an explosion, and you can't figure out what that was... and when you do see it on TV, the same overpass I'm used to take, day after day, well.. you _almost_ crap your pants.
http://www.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/americas/10/01/overpass.collapse.ap/index.html
Fortunately for me, there's no one that I know that died in there. As for the others, may God have their soul, and I wish they died quickly.. Receiving a few tons of cemen over your head, and having your car burn up after... NOT a pleasant death..
CNN quote:
Drivers on Highway 19 in the Montreal suburb slammed on their brakes and watched in horror as the overpass slowly collapsed shortly before 1 p.m. Saturday, sending cars plunging and crushing the two vehicles.
End of quote.
the overpass _slowly_ collapsed... I mean.. it's like death coming over, taking it's time, having pleasure while doing this.. it's not human.. but hey, shit happens.
I guess Laval city will become famous for it's collapsing overpasses (sorry for this bad taste joke).

How the hell did I forget to write that down?!?!?!?
Damn.. it's been like 5 months ago,... if my wife knew about this she'd kill me :P
You may see the pics (slide show) here: http://arundel.hete.org/mariage/
The wedding ceremony was... stressful.. had no voice, and neither did my wife... but then again, it was worth it. Not only for the after party, but for the whole thing.

Well, for the last few weeks I've been quiet busy, so here are the pics of those pups..
http://arundel.hete.org/chiots/chiots01.html
takes some time to load up, but it's worth the waiting period ;P
They're all gone now,.. my appartment seems so empty now.. even considering to remate my two dogs.. maybe in a year or 2... seemed like lots of work for my female (Arwen, the small bouvier bernese)... and my male (Kiwi, white golden) didn't seem to hate them much more at the end,.. playing with them & all..
We'll see!
