This 17-story hotel with a richly carved stone-and-brick façade was formerly home to writer F. Scott Fitzgerald and to Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt. Its prime location in the Murray Hill neighborhood in midtown Manhattan is less than eight blocks from attractions such as the Empire State, Chrysler, and United Nations buildings.

The hotel has 135 guestrooms. All rooms have dark-wood furnishings and large windows that open, some with views of the Empire State or Chrysler buildings.
