The Affinia 50 Hotel is an elegant New York City hotel located in midtown Manhattan, four blocks east of Rockefeller Center and Saks Fifth Avenue. Broadway theaters are just five blocks away.
Features. The second floor Club Room boasts a library, Club Concierge services, social events, a flat screen television and wireless Internet access. An extensive breakfast is served here each morning and may include smoked salmon, capers and fresh fruit. "Evening Cheer", a complimentary wine and cheese reception Monday through Thursday evenings from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., is held here. A complimentary 24 hour fitness center offers cardiovascular machines, resistance equipment, free weights and a changing room with towels. The club concierge, stationed in the lobby, offers NYConnection kits. The walking tour kit offers a choice of self guided tour books, pedometer and towel. The "Grass is Greener" kit includes a guide to area parks and recreation sites, picnic blanket and Frisbees or paddleball. The Art Lovers kit provides guides to museums and galleries, art exhibits, Zen gardens and sketch pads with colored pencils.
Guestrooms. Sophisticated dcor and contemporary furnishings create a stylish setting in the guestrooms. Most accommodations feature tables, desks and Affinia custom beds, complete with pillow menus. The Sleep Tight Pillow Menu includes the Swedish Memory pillow, Buckwheat pillow, Hypo Allergenic, Magnetic Therapy, Sound Pillow and down pillows, upon request from guest services. The junior and one bedroom suites are equipped with kitchens and California style open closet systems. Bathrooms include three shelves with lighted makeup mirrors and Aveda toiletries.
