Editorial Review
Located in the heart of the Garment District, the Ace Hotel is conveniently located adjacent near Macy's, Little Korea, the Empire State Building and countless other attractions. The hotel features handicapped rooms/facilities, concierge desk, guest laundromat, room service, 24 hour front desk, laundry/valet services, ATM/cash machine, newsstand, high speed internet access, coffee maker in room, data ports, mini bars, CD players, in-room safes, VCR, and other high-tech features you would expect from an Ace property.
Here's what Monocle magazine had to say: "The hotel will be furnished from salvage shops and re-upholstered Brimfield flea market discoveries. The 5.5m-high lobby will have a library (we are so right on) and a communal table for hanging out and checking emails. The deluxe-bohemian rooms will have Ferrari-red Music Hall turntables, a supply of vinyl and Gibson guitars. Textures are retro-chick glossy black window shutter, Pendleton wool blankets and leather sofa beds to encourage sleepovers."
