This Friday, Cooking Channel makes their first stop on a cross country ice cream truck tour, bringing America’s favorite summer treats and some of their biggest stars to a city near you! The first stop is New York City on Friday, June 25th and Saturday, June 26th, with a special appearance by Chuck Hughes, the star of Chuck’s Day Off.
Chuck will join the ice cream crew to serve up some scoops Friday at New York’s Chelsea Market followed by a stop on Saturday at the NYC FoodFilm Festival’s “Food Truck Drive-in Movie” where they will be joining the largest group of NYC food trucks ever assembled. Both truck stops will be serving frozen popsicles from local favorite People’s Pops. Known for their ice pops hand-made with peak-season, locally and organically grown fruit, special flavors they will be serving include Strawberry-Basil, Rhubarb & Jasmine, and Blueberries & Cream.
