Eden's Mandala combines masks, point and adagio work with Balinese and Baroque dance styles to create a sensual duet in which a mythic couple jouney into tantric bliss. The piece’s musical fusion of Baroque and Brazilian genres produce a musical effect that is both sweetly innocent and passionately sensual. The use of full masks, made in Bali, Indonesia, and point work add an otherworldly and hypnotic quality to the duet, which draws the audience in, as they experience lovemaking from the realm of the gods.
