Chorus Trip to NYC to see SD Phantom of the Opera
By

What can I say? Except go to the Phantom of the Opera. The whole experience that I had a part of on June 2,2008, was just awe-inspiring. Coming from a small town (2500 people) in NE South Dakota, the experience of visiting NYC was superior! The show, cast, the story of the Phantom, the staging and the whole theatrical experience were superior. The only thing that I would've liked to seen was the orchestra. Our group was seated in the top balcony and the only part of the orchestra that I could see was a couple of viola players. A lot of people don't consider the orchestra a major part of ...

The cast were fantastic, the stage and effects brilliant. If you haven't been to a musical before the storyline is easy to follow. Highly recommended. Better than Cats. My husband didn't enjoy it as much as me as he wasn't too keen on the operatic singing, he's a punk at heart.

This is a definite must watch. I was extremly impressed with everything on this show, from costumes, to staging, to the story, and most importantly their voices. I was so in love with every single one of the characters. Its such a great story that will bring you tears and brings you laughter. If you never watched a Broadway show before, this one will definetly give you the best first experience.
