  EDITORIAL REVIEW

A series of short plays by Paul Rudnick combines to create a provocative and outrageous comedy.

The four short plays that make up The New Century feature everyone from a concerned Long Island mother of at least three gay children to an accomplished Midwestern craftswoman to one of playwright Paul Rudnick's favorites, Mr. Charles, a flamboyant resident of Palm Beach. Ultimately, they all collide under surprising and comic circumstances and we discover just where our new century might be heading.

Rudnick's comedies Pride and Joy, Mr. Charles Currently of Palm Beach, Crafty and The New Century combine to create an outrageously funny and provocative original work that asks questions not easily answered.
