This is possibly the best musical to ever grace Broadway. Its so real and raw and yet at the same time...touching. Rent teaching acceptance, loving, friendship, devotion, and loss...along with many other things.

Maybe I'm a little biased since RENT is my favorite show, but I truly think everyone should see this amazing show at least once. The message is amazing, the characters are lovable, and the songs are incredibly well-written. Every time I've seen the show I've walked away feeling empowered and full of happiness. The main set design of the show is a metal table and a few chairs. Its bareness helps to concentrate on the show itself and not a big, beautiful set. The RENT band is exceptional. I'd say about 97% of the cast are incredible, including the understudies and swings. Everything about this show is amazing. I love the Nederlander Theatre because it's not an expensive, elegant, gorgeous theatre -- it's what you'd expect the characters of the show to live in and around.

This is my favorite Broadway show ever. I've seen it 10 times and will definitely see it again. As it nears its 10th anniversary, I am so happy that it continues to do well and can't wait to own the movie on DVD so I can see parts of it more often.

I loved this show. Actulyl it was my first broadway show, but it was great. A little confusing, but the theature is cute, and the actors are great!

When I first brought tickets to this show and then later read the synopsis, I felt a bit of regret. I thought I couldn't bare through watching it, but after the show I was in awe. Although it may be a bit on the profane side, I didn't feel offended. Instead, I found it to be a strong, romantic, and comedic drama. I was also impressed with their quick dance movements. The cast were so great. They were so into their roles and their voices--BREATHLESS!!! The soundtrack for this shows great!! Can't be any better!!! And ofcourse, front center row tickets are greatly recommended!!!

RENT is one of the most innovative, exciting and original musicals out there. It's emotional, funny, heartwrenching...and almost every other glowing adjective you can think of! The movie (directed by Chris Columbus, coming out Fall 2005) looks AMAZING and beautiful. I can't wait to see so many of the show's original cast members back together again, but nothing compares to hearing RENT's rock score blaring through the speakers at the Nederlander Theatre. There's a reason why this show has such a following of young theatergoers!
