The Mercury Lounge is one of the best music venues in town to catch a band rising to the top. The intimate venue allows the bands to interact with the whole crowd, and if it's a little too loud for you, enjoy the music playing from the bar while tipping back a beer. I’ve had the good fortune to catch great musicians including, Edwin Collins, Oakley Hall Archer Prewitt, Elizabeth Harper, and the White Stripes play.
