First opened in 1965, Kenny's Castaways immediately became a venue of choice for up and coming acts including the likes of the New York Dolls, Blondie, Kiss, Aerosmith, The Roaches and Patti Smith. Many things have changed in forty years, but one thing has remained constant: Kenny's Castaways is still showcasing some of the best young talent around. Kenny's continuously maintains its policy of booking straight ahead rock and blues, great vocalists and stylists, alternative and R & B.
