2A has been around forever, and that's what makes it so special; a survivor of the punk era, you go there plastered or to get plastered. The furniture lends itself to getting wasted, and the tunes are great. Drinks are reasonably priced, and some of the patrons look like they're pemanently there. An East Village institution!
