Himalayan art for the masses
By plaxiv who lives in Little Italy

Donald & Shelley Rubin have converted the former Barney's department store into a marvelous six-story museum, along with theater in basement and shop and café on ground floor. The exhibits are world-class, and this recently-opened museum has deservedly received much fanfare in the press. The galleries are well-lit, the staff helpful and informative, which in turn makes the art accessible.
