Editorial Review
The Jacques Marchais Center of Tibetan Art is housed in a serene temple-like building houses a fairly substantial collection of Tibetan art in the Western Hemisphere. Distinctive grounds include terraced gardens, lotus pond and views of New York Bay.
The best way to get there is to take the Staten Island Ferry from Battery Park, lower Manhattan, and then take a taxi from the ferry terminal directly to the museum (about $15.00)
