East Village History Project offers walking tours of the East Village and the Lower East Side from their East Village Visitors Center, located in the heart of the East Village. Their mission is educate the public about the East Village/Lower East Side's historic significance and influence in world history. East Village Visitors Center offers local brochures, maps and information, historic exhibits and displays, films, educational programs, trivia nights, book signings, lectures and presentations, special events, and direct access to East Village History Project historians.
