Its hard to miss castle Clinton because you have to go through there to get tickets to the ferry.  Even though it is a cool thing to see all you really want to do is wait in the long line to get in then wait in a long line to get the tickets to the ferry and then wait in a long long long line to get on the ferry. I do have to say i missed the beauty of it!

when at the Battery....

New York has many stunning monuments of colonial significance, and while Castle Clinton isn't the most fascinating of them all, it nevertheless deserves a visit. While heading for the Statue of Liberty ferry, it's worth a detour.
