'Night at the Museum" can only give you a glimpse
By HeatherMazzenga

Without hesitation, I would have to say that this museum requires about 3 days of full attention. However, if you are just visiting NYC, like I do, I suggest you make sure to see some of the staples of this museum including the Planetarium and the Dinosaur exhibits. If you can, try to catch the butterfly exhibit!

something to do..
By The_lovely_Scarlett who lives in Upper East Side

I love it, there are exhibits that have been there my whole life, but i cant get enough of them. The new ones are exciting too, always a good place to take anyone. I will return.

 GURU

historical natural history museum
By walton who lives in Gramercy

AMNH (to be brief) has a marvelous place in New York's history, has been home to eminent scholars in the field of natural history, and has sponsored so many programs in the field of archaeology and natural history. While some of the older displays seem kitschy by today's standards, the dinosaurs, gems and sea life exhibits fascinate kids of all ages. Enjoy the rotating mega-exhibits as well.
